Rabbits do have natural shedding cycles where they shed a lot of hair. this usually occurs every 6 months or so. finding a lot of hair in these situations can be normal. this shedding usually lasts about 2 weeks. if your rabbit continues to shed for another week, i recommend that you take him in to see your veterinarian.. Rabbit appears to be shedding, noticed today fairly large patch of hair missing from under neck area, have had rabbit around a year. eating and drinking well, bowels and bladder appear to be working a �. Fujo has been shedding a lot. i mean, a lot. so, we'll be petting him and little turfs of fur start coming out. lately it's been his face. we'll start to *gently* pull at the fur and it'll start coming out like crazy..
