Roughly 25-50 students per quarter (~100 students each year) come to the barn for weekly management classes and internships or volunteer to gain goat management experience. this facility is located off old davis road south of the main uc davis campus. all goats are housed in dry lot style pens surrounding the main barn.. Uc davis breaks ground on new dairy goat parlor and creamery breaking ground on the new goat dairy and creamery are representatives of the college of agricultural and environmental sciences, department of animal science and uc davis design and construction management.. She is involved in s.e.e.d.s (strategies for ecology, education, diversity and sustainability), the putah creek council for habitat restoration of the putah creek watershed, and has previously interned within the uc davis goat barn as a kidding and kid management intern..
